GTA 6 Gets Two Limited-Edition DualSense Controllers for Southeast Asia

PlayStation has unveiled two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans a new way to bring Vice City’s neon-soaked style into their gaming setup. The Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and White Limited Edition controllers were revealed during the September 3 State of Play presentation.

For gamers across Southeast Asia, both controllers will be available in limited quantities through participating retailers. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time, with the controllers launching from November 19, although the exact availability date can vary by country or region.

The timing puts the new accessories directly alongside the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI, which is scheduled to arrive on PS5 on November 19, 2026.

Two GTA 6 DualSense Designs Bring Vice City to Life

Sony says the two controllers were designed around the contrasting sides of Vice City — its bright coastal days and energetic nightlife.

Both versions feature a shimmering, color-shifting finish designed to reflect the colors of a Vice City sunset and the glow of neon lights. They also include custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller, along with official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.

The White Limited Edition takes inspiration from Vice City during the daytime, with a look intended to evoke white sands, pastel skies and the city’s relaxed coastal atmosphere.

The Black Limited Edition, meanwhile, is designed around Vice City’s nightlife, using a darker appearance to capture the energy of the city’s neon-lit streets.

Southeast Asia Prices Revealed

Both limited-edition controllers will carry different recommended retail prices across Southeast Asian markets.

MarketRecommended Retail Price
SingaporeSGD 115
MalaysiaMYR 419
IndonesiaIDR 1,549,000
ThailandTHB 2,890
PhilippinesPHP 5,411
VietnamVND 2,399,000

The controllers are being released in limited quantities, so availability may differ between countries and individual retailers. Sony also notes that the exact launch date can vary by region.

Pre-Orders Start September 10

Fans looking to secure either controller will be able to begin pre-ordering on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

In Southeast Asia, Sony directs customers toward participating retailers. The company has not indicated that every market will necessarily receive identical stock levels or availability.

That limited distribution could make the controllers particularly appealing to GTA collectors and PlayStation fans looking for launch-day merchandise.

Designed for GTA 6 on PS5

The new controllers aren’t simply cosmetic accessories. The standard DualSense features are also expected to play a role when Grand Theft Auto VI launches.

Sony says GTA 6 will use the controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to react to the game’s action, providing physical sensations and dynamic resistance through the controller.

That means players can expect the DualSense hardware to contribute to the game’s immersion as Jason and Lucia navigate the criminal world of Leonida.

Sony previously highlighted other PS5 features for GTA 6, including the console’s high-speed SSD and Tempest 3D AudioTech.

GTA 6 Launches November 19

The controller announcement arrives as anticipation builds toward the release of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar Games’ next major entry in the franchise is set in Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, following protagonists Jason and Lucia as they become caught up in a criminal conspiracy. The game is scheduled for PS5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, 2026.

The PlayStation Store currently lists the standard edition in India at ₹5,999, while the Ultimate Edition is listed at ₹7,499.

With the game and the new controllers arriving on the same day, November 19 is shaping up to be a major date for PlayStation and GTA fans.

What Happens Next?

The immediate next step is the September 10 pre-order window for the limited-edition DualSense controllers.

Players in Southeast Asia should check participating retailers when pre-orders open, particularly because Sony has confirmed that quantities are limited and launch timing can vary by country.

For collectors, the biggest question may be how quickly the two designs sell through once pre-orders begin.

For everyone else, the controllers offer another way to bring the distinctive Vice City aesthetic into the living room ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI’s November 19 launch.
