‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Caught on Video in Alleged Altercation With Neighbor Over Noise Dispute
Action star Alan Ritchson is making headlines off-screen after a viral video allegedly shows him in a physical altercation with a neighbor in Tennessee. Here is everything we know about the ongoing police investigation.
Hollywood actor Alan Ritchson, best known for his tough-guy role in the hit Prime Video series Reacher and the upcoming film Playdate, is currently at the center of a real-life controversy. A video recently obtained by TMZ has gone viral across social media, allegedly showing the actor engaged in a physical fight with a neighbor in front of two children.
How the Dispute Started
According to the alleged victim, a Tennessee neighbor named Ronnie Taylor, the confrontation stemmed from a noise dispute over the weekend in their typically peaceful neighborhood.
- The Saturday Incident: Taylor told TMZ that the friction began when Ritchson was riding a green Kawasaki dirt bike through the area. Taylor claimed the actor was speeding and excessively revving the engine. In irritation, Taylor flipped the actor off, and Ritchson allegedly returned the gesture.
- The Sunday Escalation: Tensions boiled over the next day. Taylor alleged that Ritchson passed through the neighborhood again—this time on a motorbike alongside two children on their own bikes.
The Altercation Turns Physical
Taylor claims that as the actor drove by, he yelled, “Can you f***** stop this please?”* in an attempt to get Ritchson to quiet down. According to Taylor’s statements to TMZ, this is when the situation turned violent.
Key allegations from the neighbor include:
- Ritchson allegedly punched Taylor in the face and kicked him to the ground.
- Taylor claims the actor struck him in the head “at least 4 times” during the scuffle.
- The altercation reportedly took place in full view of the two children.
- Taylor sustained visible injuries, including bruises and swelling to his face, though he noted he did not go to the hospital.
Police Probe Underway
Following the incident, Taylor reported the altercation to the local police station. Law enforcement sources have confirmed to TMZ that an investigation is currently underway, but as of the publication of this article, no arrests have been made.
Neither Alan Ritchson nor his legal representatives have released an official statement regarding the viral video or the neighbor’s allegations. As the video continues to circulate on social media, fans and critics alike are waiting to see how the War Machine actor’s camp will respond to the growing backlash.
